In the past we, at OWTS, have been thankful for the dedication of our Volunteer community.

Milton Marlins Swim Team, Milton Triathletes, Milton Masters Aquatic Club and many individuals have dedicated both a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to this event. Not only because that is the kind of community we have, but also because each person is touched by the enthusiasm, joy and pride that each of our grass roots athletes experience while participating. It is truly an inspiring experience to see these women, many of them first time athletes, complete a goal that, prior to summer 2010, they thought was beyond their reach. Many of our past participants have continued on to become Pro-Triathletes and still come back to enjoy the experience year after year. Lesley Grice - Pro Triathlete, new mom will return to the event that was her first triathlon.

If you want to be a part of this experience please contact me ASAP. You can be sure that WE NEED YOU.

Anna Morris - 905-691-5338 - abmorris@cogeco.ca  or contact the OWTS website www.womenstriathlon.com

All proceeds from this event go to Girls Inc of Halton, and a donation is made to the Milton Marlins Swim Team.

If you have a group of (15) or more adult volunteers that can dedicate themselves to a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, let me know. Donations to Athletic or Charity groups for dedicated, hard working volunteers are possible, contact me and we’ll talk!

Details:

Saturday, Sept 3, 2011:

        Event Set up - time 6pm - 8pm

Sunday, Sept 4, 2011:

          Park entry at 6:30am, entry after 6:30am may require a Park Entry Fee that we will be unable to refund

          Refreshments during the event and lunch afterwards provided

          Expect to be in the park until 12Noon

          Volunteers needed for Body Marking, Swim, Transition, Bike, Run, Finish Line

Hope to hear from you.

Thank you,

Anna Morris

OWTS Board Member

We're Back!!

Great new, Kelso lake passed the water quality test on August 10 so the lake is open to swimmers again.

See you at the lake,
JJ

Cancelled Swim Aug 6

I am sorry to report that the water quality at Kelso Lake did not pass the acceptable limit on the water quality test this week. We have experienced water testing results that are above the acceptable limit.

Kelso has experienced a water test that has resulted in high levels of bacteria that may pose a risk to your health. We will have results from a new test in one week’s time. This is only the second poor test experienced by Kelso in the past 4 summers. If any further questions exist please contact Gene Matthews, Director of Conservation Lands Services at gmatthews@hrca.on.ca’.

My apologies to everyone who drove out to Kelso in anticipation of a swim tonight. This took everyone by surprise and we did our best to confirm the information and send it out to everyone involved. Pictures and updates will be posted.

See you at the lake.

Support a Great Cause!

Ride your bike to support Girls Incorporated of Halton!

Join us for a bike ride through the country side just north of Milton. 25k to Limehouse
Conservation Area where a lunch will be provided, followed by a 25k ride home.

When: Sunday, June 12th at 10am

Where: This event begins at the Milton Canadian Tire parking lot (beside mattress store)
$30 per person (all proceeds will go to support in school programs that empower girls in our
community). Of the last of three finalists, Ajay Kohli, raced earlier this month and his incredible result earned him the title of the 2010 7SYSTEMS DO MORE Challenge winner.

Kohli competed in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC 5km Run for the Cure and finished in a time of 21:19. He not only exceeded the 7SYSTEMS DO MORE Challenge goal of a 7% improvement, but also shattered his personal goal of a 14% improvement. Kohli’s time this year improved upon his previous race time by 27%. This put Ajay ahead of the two other
finalists, who improved 9% and 5% respectively.

“Over the past year and a half I have shed over 75 lbs, made healthier lifestyle and dietary choices, and now I have improved my 5km race time by 27%,” said Kohli. “With the support of 7SYSTEMS and my coach JJ Neely, I have noticed that my training is more stable and that I’m stronger, leaner and faster!”

Kohli’s improvement is truly a remarkable story. Several years ago he made a pledge to become fit and healthy. He quit smoking, stopped drinking and started to watch what he ate and how he exercised. The 2009 Run for the Cure was one of his first attempts to test how his new lifestyle regime was working and he ran it in a time of 29:03.

Kohli was voted to be a DO MORE Challenge finalist along with two others, by hundreds of visitors to www.7SYSTEMS.ca. The three finalists all used 7SYSTEMS Endurance Sport Supplement for three months prior to their races and provided monthly updates at www.7SYSTEMS.ca about their training and progress. All three finalists saw significant improvements in their training and race day performance. Andrina Kelly improved 9% at the Multisport Canada’s Toronto Island Try-a-Tri and Luke Ehgoetz finished the Muskoka Half IronMan with a new personal best and a 5% improvement.

“Congratulations to Ajay and the lifestyle transformation he has made,” said Canadian Ironman champion and one of the founders of 7SYSTEMS Jasper Blake. “Our DO MORE Challenge was the perfect way to demonstrate how hard work, proper nutrition and the addition of micro-nutrient supplementation can help anyone, Olympian or weekend warrior, do more on race day and every day!”

Kohli will be receiving the DO MORE Challenge Grand Prize: six month personalized training program, a Nineteen Frequency wetsuit (retail value=$650), Running Free gift certificate, Ryder sunglasses, Signed print of Simon Whitfield’s photo finish at Des Moines 2009, and $100 coupon for INFINIT Nutrition.

The makers of 7SYSTEMS Endurance Sport Supplement believe that people who demand more from their body should demand more from their supplements. 7SYSTEMS Endurance Sport Supplement contains over 65 key ingredients. Tested by high performance athletes, including Olympic medalists and World Champions, 7SYSTEMS Endurance Sport Supplement
is being credited by many athletes as a factor in their success.

ABOUT 7SYSTEMS

7SYSTEMS Endurance Sport Supplement is manufactured by Douglas Laboratories; a well known and respected company that meets or exceeds Health Canada’s Good Manufacturing Practices in its operations and is one of only a few ISO certified nutritional supplement manufacturers in North America.

All proceeds from this event go to Girls Inc of North Halton, and a donation is made to the Milton Marlins Swim Team.
If you have a group of (15) or more adult volunteers that can dedicate themselves to a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, let me know. Donations to Athletic or Charity groups for dedicated, hard working volunteers are possible, contact me and we’ll talk!

Details:
Saturday, Sept 4, 2010:
Event Set up - time TBA, most likely 5pm - 7pm
Sunday, Sept 6, 2010:
Park entry at 6:30am, entry after 6:30am may require a Park Entry Fee that we will be unable to refund
Refreshments during the event and lunch afterwards provided
Expect to be in the park until 12Noon
Volunteers needed for Body Marking, Swim, Transition, Bike, Run, Finish Line

Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
Anna Morris
OWTS Board Member

July Update

Congrats to all the Coeure D'Alene Ironman finishers, those royal blue finisher shirts looked really good at the lake last weekend.

Lots of excitement at the lake with people getting ready for up coming Ironman USA, Louisville, Canada and Wisconsin as well as 70.3, Olympic, Sprint and Try a Tri distance races too. On Thursday June 10th, Steve Fleck from Nineteen Wetsuits will be available with a fleet of Nineteen Frequency Wetsuits for demo in the lake. He will also be able to answer any questions regarding wetsuit sizing and fitting. This is an exclusive opportunity for members of the Kelso Open Water Swim Club however if you have a friend who may be interested, please contact me (kelsoopenwaterswimming@bell.net).

Nineteen is a Canadian company with their head office located in Toronto. They have achieved international success with their line of wetsuits and speed suits. All you have to do is look around at your next race and you'll see many triathletes wearing Nineteen. The success of Nineteen doesn't end at the grassroots level as sponsored athlete Tereza Macel has some of the fastest swim splits on the Ironman circuit. In addition, Olympic Medalist Simon Whitfield recently signed with Nineteen and will wear their products from now through the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Included on the Nineteen website is a very useful wetsuit user guide that is worth a read and a bookmark for future reference.

I love this quote from their website "Nineteen. Its not just a number. It represents the goals and dreams of every triathlete. From the excitement of entering your first triathlon to the achievement of setting a personal best - even making is all the way to Highway 19, The Queen K on the Kona Coast. For Nineeen Wetsuits, its the act of turning your dreams into reality."

Local retailers who carry Nineteen Wetsuits include Running Free, Foot Tools and Enduro Sport.

For more information click one of the underlined links or visit http://www.nineteenwetsuits.com/

First Thursday Swim

Wow! What a great turnout so far. We already have 80 people registered and expect more during the following weeks. There is lots of room in the lake for more. Great training groups have begun to form not only during the swim but also afterwards as many people are running and biking after their swim.

The water at Kelso is very warm for this time of year, probably low 70's.

This Thursday, June 3 is our first evening swim of the year. We are just waiting to here back from the Conservation area to finalize our dates. Basically it will start the long weekend in May and run through until Labor Day weekend. We are proposing 29 swims thoughout the summer. All but 1 swim (first session on the May long weekend will be a Sunday swim) will be Thursday Evening 6:30-8:00 and Sat morning 8:30-10:30 (times are not etched in stone just yet). Prices have not been confirmed either

For anybody new to the blog, the 2009 swim attracted almost 100 people participating last year. Kelso and the surrounding area is a great area to swim, bike and run. There are many groups who get together for bike and run workouts before or after the swim. Only pre-requisite to join our open water swim club is that you are an OAT member.

Stay tuned for more info.

See you at the lake soon.

JJ

Final Week

Last week of open water swimming at Kelso. He will also be able to answer any questions regarding wetsuit sizing and fitting. If you are interested in trying a wetsuit or speedsuit bring your car keys or picture ID to leave while you go for a swim. If you have a friend who may be interested in a demo, you may bring them along on Thursday, however please let me know as they will need to complete a waiver before they enter the water.

Included on the Nineteen website is a very useful wetsuit user guide that is worth a read and a bookmark for future reference.

For those of you who don't know Nineteen is a Canadian company with their head office located in Toronto. They have achieved international success with their line of wetsuits and speed suits. All you have to do is look around at your next race and you'll see many triathletes wearing Nineteen but the success doesn't end at the grassroots level as sponsored athlete Tereza Macel has some of the fastest swim splits on the Ironman circuit, most recently she was the led pro (male and female) out of the water in Lake Placid which propelled her to win the women's race.

See you at the lake.

Who we are and where are we from.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SmW_1oAaWiI/AAAAAAAAALA/tyHVUPipof4/s320/IMG_6234.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360901859447560738" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SmW_1DJw0XI/AAAAAAAAAK4/i0ZN6EuA7N4/s320/IMG_6229.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360901849554669938" />
We have just passed the 1/2 way point in our open water swimming, with 15 sessions in the logbook. Our group is made up of new swimmers, experienced swimmers, expert swimmers, old swimmers and young swimmers. There are newbie triathletes who have completed there first race this year to Kona and Clearwater World Championship qualifiers. There are members competing at IM Lake Placid, IM Louisville, IM Canada, IM Wisconson, IM Florida, 70.3 Steelhead, 70.3 Muskoka as well as a big group who has committed to IM Coeur d'Alene next June.

Scanning through the membership, it is truly amazing to see where everyone is from. Contact JJ Neely for a discount code for 7 Systems Endurance Supplement for all Kelso Open Water Swimmers. I began taking 7 Systems last summer and have noticed a huge difference in my energy levels, overall wellness as well as in my triathlon training and racing. It is a product used by professional athletes like Simon Whitfield, Lauren Groves and Jasper Blake but also by working athletes like myself. I have tried many supplements, vitamins, herbs and food substitutes over the years but what led me towards 7 Systems was that it is designed for active adults who participate in endurance training and events. In case you are wondering, a sprint triathlon is considered an endurance event. To see the benefits of the 7 Systems combo of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants, it is recommended that you take the product daily for 3-4 weeks, therefore I would recommend that you order 2 containers on your first order. For more info about the product go to www.7systems.ca Also, please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

See you at the lake.

Amazing Training Day with Friends

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SkpNN00MOhI/AAAAAAAAAJg/1eqHz8340EY/s320/iron_swim.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353176006994442770" />
Amazing! That is the word that describes Saturday June 27th. It was a glorious day with bright sunshine and warm winds. The Georgetown crew rode in and were ready to hit the water first. The Finish Line Triathlon Club from Hamilton arrived the eco-friendly way by carpooling together. The Mississauga Triathlon Club came prepared to make a day of great training with great friends which always makes for great memories. The Milton Triathletes continue, to do what they have done for over 10 years, which is to swim and socialize at this beautiful venue. New members were also a part of this day as we welcomed Sue, Barrie, Dr Freddie, Valerie, Belinda, Debra, Kevin and Kimberly. It really was awesome to see so many triathletes enjoying each others company and supporting each other as everyone trains for various races and goals.

The first ever "Bring a Friend" was a huge success. Over 23 people enjoyed the open water swimming experience, over the 2 days last week. At one point on Saturday I looked out into the lake and saw so many swimmers. I tired to count but lost track after 60, it truly was an awesome sight to see. Great practice for races as you have to keep a look out for people all around.

As we try to grow our membership for the future, it is important that we all share our experiences, at Kelso, with our training partners, clubs and coaches. The more members we get, the more payment options we can offer in 2010.

Kelso really is one of the best places to train at in Ontario.

See you at the lake.

Bring a Friend

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SkKzp8JOYvI/AAAAAAAAAJY/qq1yI-XBTIU/s320/D1000018.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351036840370397938" />
Do you have a friend or training partner that has not joined our open water swimming? This Thursday June 25 and Saturday June 27 you may BRING A FRIEND TO KELSO. This is a one time deal only, on these two specified dates. The individual may NOT come to both swims. The individual does NOT have to be an OAT member, we have received permission to grant one free swim for this occasion. The individual however WILL have to complete a waiver for the lifeguards and complete a special one day permission waiver. I will have both of these with me at the lake. We all get wet when we jump into the lake anyway. So it was one of those "leave you bike at home" kinda mornings and come to the lake for a swim. The brave souls who journeyed to Kelso were rewarded with a super fantastic swim that included breath taking scenery. The water was WARM, definitely above 70 degrees now. The air was warm. The Escarpment was covered with low cloud line that provided a beautiful nature scene. From the far side of the lake, the rock cliff and green trees combined with the low clouds created a beautiful scene worth a picture. Unfortunately, my camera is not waterproof so the above photos are the only ones I have taken from the parking lot. I hope everyone is enjoying the swims as much as I am.

See you at the lake.

Tips from the Pros

Ever watch a triathlon on TV? How about on your computer? Did you learn anything?

The new ITU World Championship Series is now easily accessible on your computer thanks to Universal Sports. If you haven't heard of it, you should. You can view live and previously recorded sports that would be considered fringe sport compared to the sports regularly shown on your television. They had huge success in May with live Giro d'Italia coverage and most recently the Santa Clara swim meet where Canadian Brent Hayden beat Michael Phelps in the 100 m Free. Currently you can view the World Cup race from Madrid that happened a few weeks ago where British up and comer Brownlee ran a crazy 30:31 (10km)in 38 degrees Celsius to take the title. This weekend Universal Sports is providing live coverage of the big ITU World Championship race in DC this weekend.

So what is my point in all this well you can learn a lot by watching these races. Here are some tips from Gale Bernhardt

During the Swim
The best swimmers lift their heads to sight, only enough to have their goggles clear the water surface. Notice how they separate breathing from sighting to keep their hips from sinking, which keeps their bodies streamlined.

During Transitions
If you are aiming for a podium spot in a sprint or Olympic-distance race, can you do a flying mount? Can you do a flying dismount heading into T2? If you can transition as fast as the ITU athletes can, you've got a significant advantage over your competition.

Also notice their transition set up. Simple and efficient, no junk laying around the bike. See the fast times as well, albeit they usually do not have wetsuits to strip off. Still very fast and efficient.

During the Bike
Elite athletes can corner a bike at high speed and minimize braking. Can you?

During the Run
What does a sub-32:00 10K look like for the men?
What does a sub-35:00 10K look like for the women?

So sit back watch the exciting race but see if you can learn something and take away to improve your own triathlon experience.

See you at at the lake.

Welcome

Greetings Kelso Open Water Swimmers

Three weeks into our open water swims and we have almost 70 people registered. The water is getting warmer each week. I'd guesstimate that it is about 68 degrees. It is really great to see so many people out at the lake. Its not too late to join so if you have friends still interested please pass the information on to them or have them contact me directly.

Thursday June 11

This Thursday is our first evening swim. Wear two caps. You lose most of your heat through your head, and doubling up your "capage" helps you to keep your heat in.

2. Wear a neoprene cap. Neoprene is better suited for cold water than standard latex.

3. You also lose lots of heat through your feet. Neoprene socks are a good idea, but you may want to use these mostly on training swims, as they can be a hassle when it comes to transitioning to your bike on race day.

4. Wear a wetsuit—but more specifically, a full suit. The sleeveless suits allow heat to escape through your armpits.

5. Put in earplugs. When the water drops below 60 degrees, I think earplugs become necessary—and they do work well in keeping your core temperature up.

6. Practice swimming in cold water in the weeks before your race. At first, it can be a shock to your system that can lead to hyperventilating or a panicked feeling. You will want to swim slowly until you catch your breath. The first time you experience this it can throw you off, but with practice you will get used to it and be able to relax into your swim.

7. Do a significant warm-up the morning of your race (10 to 15 minutes, minimum). This will minimize the shock effect that cold water can have and allow you to get into a stroke rhythm much faster.

8. Blow bubbles before taking off on your swim. When the cold water hits your face, the shock causes your lungs to contract, causing breathing problems. Go waist deep into the water and submerge your face to blow bubbles. This helps alleviate the shock of the cold water.

Use these tips not only to help your body tolerate cold water swimming, but to use it to your advantage and gain a leg up on your competition.

See you at the lake.

Double the Fun!

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SiFjOKUR1vI/AAAAAAAAAG0/1aplrf4moB4/s200/IMG_9426.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341659727976847090" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SiFjN4EHRFI/AAAAAAAAAGs/2FU51vsdasY/s200/IMG_9422.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341659723077207122" />
Wow, lots of action out at Kelso this morning. As the crew set up the transition area for the Milton Triathlon & Duathlon, we had a fury of activity at the boat launch beach. Registration numbers doubled this weekend and we now have over 50 people registered for open water swimming.

It was a beautiful morning for a swim as the waves of people entered and exited the water the clouds broke and by the end the sun was shinning brightly and a beautiful day had emerged. Temperature continued to be around 65 degrees. A few thought it was colder than last week, stating the rain caused this and other thought it was a little warmer. No matter what the thoughts were everyone was able to complete their planned swims whether it was 500m by first timer Jeff White or 3000m by Marco Sadeghi, who is Ironman Louisville bound.

Our lifeguards have been doing a great job following the swimmers around the lake as well as checking everyone in and out of the water.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SiFn_Lm_4wI/AAAAAAAAAHE/5ptoGpqy1-U/s200/IMG_9424.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341664968183898882" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 134px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/SiFn-yqIYFI/AAAAAAAAAG8/NzQuZ7N6bus/s200/IMG_9427.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341664961486151762" />

Safety is a big part of swimming in open water and we take it very seriously. Four lifeguards are present at every swim. Two follow swimmers on paddle boards, one roams in a motorized boat and one stays on shore.

If you haven't been out on the lake yet, please come join us or contact me for more information.

See you at the lake.

May 24 First Day!

Sweet! First open water swim at Kelso is in the log book. It was a great morning to be at the lake. Calm waters, comfortable temperature, and a group of eager triathletes ready to swim. A few first for 2009. First person to register, Jane Wood. First person to swim a loop, Calvin Snow. First person to wear a speedo, Marco Sadeghi, and he swam for 40 minutes!

Just over 20 people entered the water for a swim today. The water was 65 degrees and once you got over the initial face freeze, 2-3 minutes, it was a great day for a swim. Over 30 people have registered and we expect to see more people next Sat May 30 at 8:30 am.

Have you seen the loop??? Check it out http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2824674

For more information see the other blog posts or contact JJ Neely

See you at the lake.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/Shn1AE1tczI/AAAAAAAAAGk/Fzex3rFNxCA/s320/IMG_9404.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339568214872257330" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/Shn0IcNrjgI/AAAAAAAAAGU/ejgJWVf80RE/s320/IMG_9412.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339567259074137602" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_vxHUVywWy6A/ShntX0j0xOI/AAAAAAAAAGE/9tnJR0Jsdy4/s320/IMG_9419.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339559826726110434" />

Water Temperature Update

Two pieces of important information.

This week only the swim is on SUNDAY May 24 not Saturday.

Also, this just in off the TriSport website:
May 21, 2009- Just received word that the Milton water temperature is already at 64 degrees. We are able to swim the perimeter of the lake, approximately at 1500m loop. There are many different ways to shorten the loop to make for ideal training. Also there is a out and back off the start that would be about 500m total. Perfect for all abilities of swimmers. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2824674

Safety:
There will be 4 lifeguards on duty for each swim. One stays on the beach and does check in and out of all participants. Two follow the swimmers on paddle boards around the lake The forth lifeguard is in a motorized boat and also patrols the up and down the lake.

Training:
From a training perspective there is nothing better than putting on your wetsuit and training in open water swimming. It is perfect to mimic racing. Even the beach entry/exit is perfect for practicing starts and transitions if one desired. Also from Kelso, biking and running are both fantastic.

Coaching:
There will be no formal group coaching at the lake however I will be available to answer any of your swimming related questions or concerns. If you are interested in formal coaching for triathlon we have a few people in our club who currently coach triathletes and are qualified to coach. Email me if you are interested.

Family:
Kelso is also a multi-purpose park that has trails to hike and run, mountain biking, picnic area and numerous water sports too. It is also a perfect place to ride from or run before or after your swimming.

Water Conditions:
As mentioned on the application form, the Lake has only been closed 2 times due to poor water quality since 1996. Its is one of the cleanest lakes in the GTA. The water is tested twice daily and current conditions can be found on the Conservation Halton website.

Park Passes:
Each individual is responsible for entry into the park.
